Ultraflex fast connect tilt steering helm features a Planetary gear design, with a tilt range of 48° and five locking positions. The tilt device eliminates under dash movement.
Ultraflex 81FC reversible steering helm eliminates the continuous load on the operator caused by the propeller torque making steering easy and safe.
Ideal for outboards and surfacing propellers.
All stainless steel cable output ends as per ABYC safety standards.
Fast connect, simple installation.
Standard 3/4" Tapered Shaft - Stainless steel
Uses M66 cables
Corrosion resistant materials.
Lock-to-lock steering wheel turns: Approximately 3.8.
Stroke: 228mm (9").
Maximum steering wheel diameter: 406mm (16").
Minimum steering cable bend radius: 200mm (7.9").
T81FC is not be used on boats equipped with engines that exceed the max horsepower rating of the boat.
For boats faster than 50mph hydraulic steering systems are recommended
