Description
The John Guest Speedfit pex barrier pipe has an outside diameter of 22mm and is supplied in a 25 metre coil. The pipe is suitable for hot water or cold water domestic plumbing applications due to the lead free and non toxic materials used. Speedfit pex pipe features a lightweight, flexible 5 layer construction, the centre of which is a blue coloured oxygen barrier to prevent air ingress into the system, reducing the effect of corrosion on metal components. This Speedfit pipe has a low thermal conductivity, so when carrying hot water the pipe is cooler and safer to touch.
Speedfit pex barrier pipe meets British Standard BS7291: Part 3: Class S.
JG Speedfit inserts must be used when using Speedfit fittings with this pipe.
