Description

The MyCelx replacement filter elements for the MyCelx BilgeKleen BK-2 and CleenLife BPS2 medium bilge discharge filters.

When the MyCelx filter elements are used in conjunction with either the MyCelx BilgeKleen filter or CleenLife filter and installed on the bilge pump discharge line it will effectively remove 99.9% of hydrocarbons (fuel and oils) from the bilge water without restricting bilge pump performance. Particle pre-filtration is recommended to extend media life of the MyCelx elements. The bilge filter element has an operating pH range of 3 to 11.

The MyCelx infused bilge filter elements removes the following contaminants from water - alkanes, alkenes, cycloalkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, crude oils, sheen, tallow and other animal fats, vegetable oils, complex organics, monomers and polymers, organically bound metals, PCBs, MTBE, chlorinated organics, emulsions, POPs (aldrin, chlordane, DDT, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, hexachlorobenzene, mirex, PCBs, toxaphene).
