The Italian company manufactures winches, windlasses, capstans and anchoring accessories, water heaters, thrusters and lighting products.
Windlass & Capstan Range
Quick manufacture a wide range of windlasses and capstans that are designed for boats from 16 to 230ft with AC, DC and hydraulic power options available. The windlass model range has vertical and horizontal windlass variants, handling calibrated anchor chains from 6mm to 26mm. Quick have also designed capstans to match the windlass range to complement and offer a complete boat package.
The Quick windlass range also includes a wide range of anchoring accessories including anchors, bow rollers, remote controls, chain counters
and switch controls. As well as anchor windlass and mooring capstans, Quick also manufacture specialist winches for recovery operations making handling tenders much easier and safer to launch and bring onboard and stow.
Water Heaters
Aquafax are expanding the range of hot water heaters by introducing the B3 and BX water heater range. Made from AISI 316 stainless steel, these water heaters have an efficient polyurethane insulation and come with cold water non-return valve, pressure relief valve, single heat coil and mains immersion heater fitted.
The B3 and BX range also come with fixing brackets for ease of installation and mounting securely in a boat or vehicle. Quick also offer an optional thermostatic mixing valve kit to protect users from high water temperatures that can be experienced when heated from an engine cooling heat source.
Thrusters
Handling boats up to 150ft and producing a thrust performance from 25 to 1000kgf, Quick design and manufacture their full range of thrusters boasting their Made in Italy prestige of each component. The thruster range is available as AC, DC and hydraulic power options with tunnels suitable for bow and stern applications. Quick also offer retractable thruster systems to fit inside the hull allowing the hull form to be unaffected and keep the full hydrodynamic efficiency of the original hull design. Counter rotating propellers improve thrust efficiency producing even propulsion in both directions. Quick also include a small 185mm tunnel version counter rotating thruster in their product range producing a 105kgf thrust, ideal for shallow drafted vessels needing powerful manoeuvring capabilities.
The Quick thruster controls range from a simple push button or panel direction control, radio remote controls options or full proportional thrust control for conventional DC, AC and hydraulic thruster systems. Further control options are planned for 2021 to further enhance the user boat control experience. Quick’s elastic motor coupling design offers both flexibility in maintaining motor drive alignment and dampening to protect the gearbox. The latest brushless motor technology models offer very quiet operation with the ability run from prolonged periods of time without overheating.
