Description

This spin-on fuel filter conversion kit is an ideal replacement for the clamp together CAV Delphi 296 & 901 type fuel filters as fitted to many diesel engines.

The filter head is to standard CAV Delphi type configuration, with the same mounting arrangement, four 1/2" UNF female ports and a bleed screw. Looking at the front of the fuel filter with the mounting bracket at the back you have an inlet and an outlet on both sides with the inlet at the front and the outlet at the back.

This Spin On fuel filter conversion comes with a simple to change spin on fuel filter element (one supplied in kit). Less mess, less frustration. If you have ever struggled trying to get the CAV 296 rings to position and seal on your filter head then you will appreciate the simplicity for this spin on filter conversion kit to replace the CAV 296 fuel filters.

The replacement service fuel filter element is part no: 103423.

The 302040 spin on fuel filter conversion is supplied without any port fittings, adaptors or bungs - please order extra as required from the fittings shown below if you cannot use them from your old CAV 296 fuel filter installation.
