The Seagull Dockside Pre-Filter System pre-filters fresh water you might use from the dock side or marina while you cruise. The General Ecology Dockside pre-filter extends the life of Seagull IV purification systems you have installed on board and helps keep equipment running smoothly by removing many of the most troublesome contaminants. This Dockside pre-filter is designed to remove abrasive sand, dirt, rust and suspended particulates from your drinking water, to suit your fresh water needs. This domestic water pre-filter can filter 20.8 litres of drinking water per minute (5.5 US gallons).

Use the Dockside Pre-Filter for the purification of water alongside a Seagull IV water purifier for a complete on-board drinking water purifying system (Seagull IV purification systems are independently certified to meet EPA standards for microbiological purifiers against bacteria, cysts and viruses). The Aqua-Polish Filtration Cartridge used in the Dockside Pre-Filter has a 3 micron rating, to reduce chlorine, microscopic and visible dirt and scale, as well as many other larger particle contaminants.

The Dockside Pre-Filter is a filtering device, which is not intended to remove microbiological contaminants.
