The MyCelx BK-3 BilgeKleen large bilge filter system is designed to install on your bilge pump discharge line and will effectively remove 99.9% of hydrocarbons (fuels and oils) from your bilge water without restricting bilge pump performance. The MyCelx bilge filter is simple to install and operate, with no moving parts.
The MyCelx BK-3 BilgeKleen system features 1-1/2" NPT ports to maximise the effectiveness of the filter on commercial vessels with larger bilge hoses. The specially designed MyCelx bilge filter elements are hydrophobic and will not absorb water and will only remove hazardous hydrocarbons. The MyCelx bilge filter elements can easily be replaced by using the included bowl spanner.
MyCelx BK-3 large BilgeKleen bilge filters are ABS certified and Lloyds register type approved to <5 ppm overboard discharge. The MyCelx BilgeKleen BK-3 bilge filter is supplied complete with bowl spanner, Smart-Pad and installation instructions.
The MyCelx infused bilge filter elements removes the following contaminants from water - alkanes, alkenes, cycloalkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, crude oils, sheen, tallow and other animal fats, vegetable oils, complex organics, monomers and polymers, organically bound metals, PCBs, MTBE, chlorinated organics, emulsions, POPs (aldrin, chlordane, DDT, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, hexachlorobenzene, mirex, PCBs, toxaphene).
