Description

This Surecal thermostatic mixing valve is supplied as standard for all Surecal universal mount calorifiers, but not on vertical mount calorifiers.

It is a safety feature which adds cold water to the hot water in the calorifier to achieve a desired water temperature. This temperature is adjustable between 45°C and 65°C. Because it is mixing water together, it adds to the overall volume of the water that comes from the calorifier. At 65°C it typically adds about 25% more volume.

The mixing valve features 15mm fittings.
